Legendary Singer Prince’s Estate Will Become a Museum

Legendary singer Prince’s estate will become a museum.

Prince was a legendary singer throughout the eighties and nineties. He passed away on April 21, 2016 at age 57 due to a drug overdose.

Four of Prince’s brothers and sisters remain alive. His brother- in law Maurice Phillips will assume control of Prince’s estate: Paisley Park in Minnesota. Phillips will also take control of Prince’s entire music catalog,  which contains all of  Prince’s songs, including a ton of unreleased material. Paisley Park is set to be open to the public on October 11.

Prince’s most popular songs  include Purple Rain and When Doves Cry. Prince performed at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2006, was the guest on Saturday Night Live on February 4, 2006, and performed at the Super Bowl XLI halftime show.

Prince was a music legend and he will be truly missed.
