HHS Media Center Introduces the POP-UP Library

Alli Getchell, Editor

The Hawthorne High School library has a new addition to the book department called, the Pop-up library.

Books will be appearing in unexpected places throughout the school, this year. A book cart would be brought to club meetings, including books of interests to the students in that club. From there, students can browse and check out books. The point of this is to bring the library to where the students are. This will make students more aware of what is in our library, and expand their horizons.

The debut of the Pop-up library was November 15th, at the Drama Club meeting, where several students searched (and literally dodged) for the Hamilton Revolution book.

You never know where this will pop-up next.
