HHS Spanish Club’s Festival Latino

The Spanish Club hosted Festival Latino on May 15th. The festival was held in room 217 and 218, and went from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Overall, it was a huge success. Lots of students, teachers, and other faculty members showed their support and attended. The festival was filled with traditional Spanish food from all over the world.  “I had so much fun! I had the best flan I’ve ever had,” said Rocco Pecoraro.

By the time it was lunch, the line was out the door, and the empanadas started running out! Additionally, students played Wii, and danced the Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. The classroom was filled with decorations, from banners to piñatas, which were made by Spanish 2 students.  Anyone who attended the festival was able to vote for a favorite piñata. All in all, the outcome resulted in a huge success.
