Toys for Tots

Thanksgiving is next week and many are gearing up for Christmas.

With all this excitement it becomes easy to overlook those who can’t afford to join in with all the festivities. To give back the Volunteer Railroad Association is sponsoring the annual Toys for Tots train. This is a charity that accepts new unwrapped toys to give out to needy children in the North Jersey area for Christmas.

They are accepting toys at the many of the drop off locations around town until December 3.

The Hawthorne Train  Station (80 Royal Avenue) will be open at 9 a.m. on December 3 to accept donations until the train to picka up the gifts between 10:05-10:45 A.M. Please make a child’s Christmas magical by dropping off new unwrapped presents at any of the numerous collection locations around Hawthorne
