HHS Art Show 2016: An Opinion

Liam Duffy, Staff Writer

Whether we realize it or not, we are all more creative and talented than we might think. If you don’t believe me, just think back to this past Friday and the Hawthorne High School Art Show.

After touring the show for a period, I was truly blown away by the art that my fellow students here at HHS created. I saw that the HHS artists were inspired by cultures from other places in the world, and this translated into stunning works of art.

These HHS artists are not afraid to follow their artistic dreams, making works of art that are creative and captivating. They work really hard at their craft and they are fearless as they display their art in public. By doing this, they inspire others to maybe be creative themselves. That is how the cycle of creativity works and it shall always keep moving forever.

There is so much inner potential that our students here at HHS have and we surely don’t want it to go unnoticed. If we let that happen, it would be a waste of pure talent and creativity. That is why we must encourage our students to not be afraid of anything and to show their artistic work to the world.
