With the NBA post season quickly approaching, many people have lost faith in their teams to produce. But could there be chance? Many teams are searching for rookies, new recruits, and free agents to restore their glory come next season and potentially following seasons.

Let us take a look at who exactly is on the market and who to keep an eye on during this free agency. For the spot 1 position, the top people to watch are D’angelo Russell, Kemba Walker and Kyrie Irving. The skills which are being looked for are whether the athlete can handle the ball, can put up some good numbers on the scoreboard, can find an open teammate, and rack up assists. Therefore, this athlete will be keeping the team firing at a high rate of efficiency and fluidity.

At the 2 guard position, there are some easily recognizable names starting with Danny Green, JJ Reddick and Klay Thompson. Thompson has the attention of almost (if not every) team in the league. At the age of 29, he ranks among the all time top 20 in career three-points made, and has the fourth highest accuracy rate among players with 500+threes over that stretch. Seeing that Klay is a 22 point scorer, lock down defender, he also continues to increase his ability to shoot. This is entirely based on the possibility that Klay will look past the Golden State Warriors during his free agency this summer.

The top 3 biggest players entering free agency at the small forward position include the following: Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, and Kevin Durant. All these players are all-star level players to pick up.
