The April events at the HHS Library concluded with the raffle drawing for two VIP tickets donated by the Hawthorne Theater. Winner, Danella Ramos, entered the raffle by writing a poem on the Poet Tree, celebrating National Poetry Month. Other raffle opportunities included taking the Shakespeare IQ quiz to recognize the Bard’s April birthday; taking the Math Challenge to acknowledge April as Math Awareness month, or signing out a book to celebrate National Library Month. A big “thank you” goes out to the Hawthorne Theater for always supporting Hawthorne High School.
