“Chalktober”

Chalktober

Meagan Scherer, Staff Writer

On Tuesday, October 25, students from Ms. Russo’s Studio Art Honors class went out to the courtyard, and decorated the ground with festive, seasonal art.

Drawings of spooky cobwebs, plump pumpkins, colorful fall leaves, and more can be found on the courtyard’s floor.

Ms. Russo described “Chalktober” as “a fun little way for the students to bond and celebrate October by creating autumnal drawings, and a way to promote the arts in the school community.”

Be sure to stop by the courtyard and see the students’ beautiful chalk artwork!
