Did you know that real estate has made more millionaires in the past five years than it has in the past fifty five?

It is very evident that this business is booming. According to the National Association of Realtors, in 2017 5.5 millions homes were sold. 612,000 of these were newly constructed homes. The thing is with real estate is the demand for homes is there: affordable homes aren’t always available. We happen to live in a very overpopulated environment which calls for living space.

Real estate requires a different type of person. A good real estate agent doesn’t even have someone to answer to. Many times the realtor is their own boss. Clients may be the only person they answer to because without the mortgage they pay you, there is no job.

If you’re good with people, real estate may be a good choice if your prepared mentally and physically. It’s one thing to have responsibilities, but real estate can be “Overwhelming” says author Gary Keller. Every agent just starting out is typically trying to do the same thing.

Standing out may be the biggest advantage. Being outgoing and learning more about your customers is another good point as well.
