How many hours a day do you spend on your phone, making calls, texting, snapping, tweeting?

Here’s a better question: How many hours a day do most people spend on their phones?

People spend an average of 4 hours a day looking at their screens from big to small. But being on your phone all the time can truly impair you from living a happy and full life.

Some easy ways to get some me time rather then screen time is, to put your phone on the Do Not Disturb mode. No calls, texts, or notifications will come through, and you won’t have to feel the need to respond if you see no messages. Also, take a step back from the virtual world; try working out, or getting outside for a walk or listening to music and dancing around like an idiot. You don’t need to get physical like Olivia, but just getting a nice breath of fresh air or getting your groove on can be a nice break.

How about sitting down and swapping your phone for a book? On certain days nothing is better than reading a book that’s good for the soul.

Screen time has become such a powerful presence in this day and age, we need to be careful we don’t lose ourselves in this virtual world. So take back some of your own time and enjoy your own company.
