Alumni Spotlight: Ronald Walker Jr.

The Clarion is excited to introduce a new column called “Alumni Spotlight” showcasing graduates from Hawthorne High School. Next up, is HHS alumni Ronald Walker Jr.  from the class of 1997.

 

Clarion: What are you up to now?

Walker: I am married with two kids, I’m still living in Hawthorne, and I’m  working for the Borough of Hawthorne and I am on the Hawthorne Volunteer Fire Department.

 

Clarion: Did you play any sports or were you a part of any clubs?

Walker: I played football, wrestling, and I also did track.

 

Clarion: What was your favorite high school memory?

Walker: Playing sports and being a part of a team.

 

Clarion: Who was your favorite teacher?

Walker: Mr.Ward was my favorite teacher.

 

Clarion: Did you end up attending college if so where?

Walker:Yes, I graduated from William Paterson University.

 

Clarion: How was your high school experience?

Walker: My high school experience was okay.

 

Clarion: If you had to do high school all over again, what would you do differently?

Walker: If I had to do high school all over again I would be more active in the school.
