Alumni Spotlight: John Arturi

The Clarion is excited to introduce a new column called “Alumni Spotlight” showcasing graduates from Hawthorne High School. Next up, HHS alumni John Arturi from the class of 1993.

 

Clarion: What are you up to now?

Arturi: I am lieutenant in the PCSO.

 

Clarion: Did you play any sports or were you a part of any clubs?

Arturi: I played football and I did track.

 

Clarion: What was your favorite high school memory?

Arturi: My favorite high school memory was track state sectionals.

 

Clarion: Who was your favorite teacher?

Arturi: My favorite teacher was Ms. D’Amato

 

Clarion: Did you end up attending college if so where?

Arturi: I went to Bergen Community College.

 

Clarion: How was your high school experience?

Arturi: My high school experience was great.

 

Clarion: Has any of the teachers you had impacted your life in anyway?

Arturi: Ms. D’Amato, she always pushed me to do the best I can in everything I do.

 

Clarion: If you had to do high school all over again, what would you do differently?

Arturi: I would not do anything different.
