Alumni Spotlight: Brendan Terrizzi

The Clarion is excited to introduce a new column called “Alumni Spotlight” showcasing graduates from Hawthorne High School. Next up, is HHS alumni Brandon Terrizzi from the class of 2016.



Clarion: How was your High School experience?

Terrizzi: My high school experience was great! I  had a lot of awesome teachers and classmates.


Clarion: What was your favorite high  school memory?

Terrizzi: My favorite high school memory was going to the prom and prom weekend.


Clarion: What are you up to now?

Terrizzi: I am currently attending William Paterson University.


Clarion: Did you play any sports or were you a part of any clubs?

Terrizzi: I played  baseball at Rutgers Newark and I am Currently a firefighter in Hawthorne.


Clarion: Did you end up attending college if so where?

Terrizzi: I went to Rutgers for a year and now I  am attending William Paterson University.


Clarion: Who was your favorite teacher?

Terrizzi: My favorite teacher was James Clementi.


Clarion: Did any of your teachers at HHS impact your life in any way?

Terrizzi: I had many great teachers that were all good influences to me.


Clarion: If you had to do high school all over again, what would you do differently?

Terrizzi: I dont think there’s anything I would change…I had a good experience.
