Gone: 2 Stars

Due to its dull plot, by the time you read this, the movie Gone will be gone from the theatres. The movie stars Amanda Seyfried who plays Jill, a girl who was abducted a few years before. She is then feeling her abduction all over again when her sister Molly goes missing. She runs around all over the town being chased by the cops looking for her. She is sure it is the same abductor that took her.

This movie is portrayed as a scary, bone chilling horror film. In reality, it’s not scary–just a little suspenseful. This movie isn’t good enough to be a number-one hit. It starts off very slow with no one believing the story about Jill’s abduction and then no one believing that her sister has been abducted. Everyone thinks Jill is going crazy, trying to use different people to lure her home.

Throughout the film you can almost predict the ending. The things she says gives it away, such as: “I’ll sleep when he’s dead” automatically predicts the ending early on in the film. I wouldn’t suggest paying to see this film, just to wait for the DVD.
