Best Fall Movies to Watch

With the seasons changing, that means staying in and grabbing a blanket with some good friends and chilling out. A couple of new movies hit the screens this past year and there will be more to drop this Fall. Here is a list of the top five films to see this season. So grab your popcorn and a comfy seat, because the show is about to begin.

1. “Sully” (PG-13) It is January 15, 2009 and airplane Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberg has to save a plane full of passengers, after their plane hits a flock of geese. But to do that he has to land in the Hudson river. Everyone survives and they think he is a hero. But is he?

2. “Finding Dory” (PG) And the search continues as the comedic little blue fish we love is back. Ellen DeGeneres keeps the audience entertained with this Disney remake on the classic “Finding Nemo.” Only this time she is on the hunt for her own family, with the help of some familiar friends. Does she find her family? Guess you have to go see the movie to find out. This is definitely a family friendly movie.

3. The Harry Potter series (PG) A series of films based off of the widely known books written by the phenomenal author J.K Rowling. These movies are filled with the wonder of magic and wizardry this will get you in the Halloween mood for sure. As you may know this series is about a young boy who finds out he is a wizard. So he attends this wonderful school with all people of his type. He meets wonderful friends along the way, but his journey is not smooth. People seem to know his name, but he doesn’t know why. But soon he will find out.

4. “The Jungle Book” 2016 (PG) This film is a remake of the original Disney classic. But there is a twist. Mowgli has to leave his family behind. But most of the movie is still the same as the Disney classic, because the two still meet the same characters. Along the way they both learn important life lessons such as finding out who you really are and who you really want to be, but they do it in such a fun way.

5. “Ghostbusters” 2016 (PG-13) Two women are trying to prove that there is paranormal activity in the world. When the apparitions appear they call in more women to take the ghosts out of Manhattan. The battle between ghosts and humans is all throughout New York as the women battle over 1000 ghosts.
