The winner of the 2016 GQ Magazine Man of the Year is vlogger, film director, and internet personality, Casey Neistat.

Posting daily vlogs and short films on his Youtube channel, the 35 year old Casey Neistat has taken the internet by storm with creative and family friendly content. With a net-worth of 1.5 million and a subscriber count of over 4 million, Neistat has certainly proved why he is the 2016 Man of the year.

GQ was first published in 1957, as a monthly magazine based in New York discussing topics that range from fashion to sports to food. The famed magazine is now published in over 23 countries worldwide. GQ Magazine began awarding their Prestigious award in 1996 with the first recipient being renowned actor, Mel Gibson. Since then stars like Michael Jordan, Tom Hanks, and Kanye West have all been fortunate enough to receive the award.

As for Neistat, he’s now an accomplished filmmaker, and is now running his own app, Beme, a video messaging application which is now available for almost all devices on the App store and Android market.
