That’s So Raven Spin-off?
December 20, 2016
Yes, it has been confirmed that sometime in 2017, That’s So Raven will be making a comeback on Disney Channel.
For those of you who don’t know what the original show was about, That’s So Raven was an original Disney series that aired in the early 2000’s; it was based on a girl, Raven Baxter, played by Raven Symoné, who had short, psychic visions of future events when in deep situations. Once having those visions, she’d always try to make them come true which always resulted in trouble, and hilarious situations, for herself, her family, and her friends.
And now this spinoff (which has yet to be named- except for the name Raven has called it, “That’s So Raven 2”) will revolve around Raven as a divorced mom, of two children. Her daughter, Nia, has inherited her gift of seeing visions of future events. She also inherited Raven’s knack for getting in trouble and for trying to do the right thing. And her innocent naive son, Booker, doesn’t do anything bad, unless he’s tricked into it. This will obviously be a little different from the original series.
As for the original co-stars and them making an appearance, it has been confirmed that, Anneliese Louise Vander Pol, will be returning, to reprise her role as Chelsea Daniels, one of Raven’s best friend’s. She will also portray a divorced mother, raising a difficult son, Levi.
So you classic Disney kids, be on the lookout for That’s So Raven 2, in 2017!
