Top movies of 2017

2017 has had a bumpy start so far, but one thing is for sure, the movies have not been disappointing. But with so many good films already out,  how do you know which ones to go see? Let’s get into the list of movies that are out right now or are coming out very soon. 

1. Logan – In this movie Hugh Jackman is busy taking care of Professor X who has become very ill right near the Mexican border. Logan wants to escape from the world and simply be forgotten. That is until he meets this little girl who is exactly like him. Little does he know she is wanted by dark forces. Logan’s one goal is to protect her with everything he has. Does she survive? Will they make it out alive? Guess you have to see the movie to find out.
2. Beauty and the Beast– In the live action version of this film Emma Watson is playing the beautiful Belle. We all know Beauty and the Beast as one of the classic Disney animated movies locked away in the Disney vault. But in this version all of the actors really help bring the story to life. You know this movie is really special because on it’s opening weekend it raked in $175 million dollars; not to mention all of the money coming in now.
3. Kingsman: The Golden Circle. This movie is about two spies (Eggsy and Merlin) have recently encountered an attack on Kingsman HQ. The only way to stop the attack is to team up with their American counterpart. Will the attacks ever stop?
4. Power Rangers – We all know the Power Rangers from the various cartoons and shows, but now they are coming back to the big screen. This movie is similar to the television show, but this time bigger and better. The movie features all of the same Power Rangers, but they are even more intense. They will still be battling enemies, but on a much larger scale.
5. Thor Ragnarok – All hail the mighty Thor. Well, all but one. We all know Thor has gotten into some nasty battles with enemies, but this time this fight is going to involve some smashing. Thor is going to be getting into a fight with the mean green fighting machine the Hulk. This is going to be a big battle between the two Marvel characters, but only one will come out on top. 

There you have it: these are the top movies either out (or coming out) this year. This year may not have many good things, but the movies sure are really good this year. I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy some the movies out in theaters right now.
