“Zero the Hero” Children’s Book by Rapper Andy Mineo
May 2, 2017
Andy Mineo is a rapper signed to Reach Records. His sophomore album, “Uncomfortable”, has topped as the No. 1 Independent record in America. Mineo has now announced that he will be releasing a book based off of his album, “Heroes For Sale”, titled, “Zero the Hero.”
“To celebrate the 4 year anniversary of “Heroes For Sale” I am announcing something I’ve been working on for a long time, my first children’s book. Based off of the character “Zero” from the album, this book tells the story of a homeless boy who discovers his unsuspecting super power of selflessness. The Zero character has been seen on the cover of “Heroes For Sale”, on Mineo’s merchandise, and in his music videos for his songs, “Now I Know” and “You Can’t Stop Me!” It has become a symbol, not only for Andy’s music, but for the rapper himself. For Andy’s fans, it’s exciting to know that Andy Mineo will not only be publishing a book, but will have Zero as the main character of it.
The children’s book is co-authored by Mike Widger and illustrated by Adam Grason. There is no release date yet, but we can assume it will be released very soon this year.
