Winter is here and that means we are very quickly approaching the holidays. If you have been to any store or mall lately, you may have heard the holiday music pumping through the speakers. These are the most iconic songs of the holidays:
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: This is one of the most iconic songs during the holiday season. Robert L May wrote this song that is always stuck in your head.
- Jingle Bell Rock: This song is a remake of the classic song. Written by Jim Booths, Joe Beal, and James Ross Booths.
- Deck the Halls: Written by John Ceiriog Hughes, and Thomas Oliphant this song is one of the songs to put on while you are decorating the tree.
- All I Want for Christmas is You: Written and performed by Mariah Carey this is one of the songs you either love or hate but either way it is still very iconic.
- 12 Days of Christmas: Written by Frederick Austin, he takes us through the gifts that people receive on each of those days.
- Silver and Gold: Most famously seen in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and written by Carl, Stan, and Greg Perkins.
- Frosty the Snowman: This was from the classic film played every Christmas. Written by Steve Nelson, and Walter E Rollins this song is one that everybody is singing during the holidays.
- Carol of the Bells: Written by Mykola Leontovych this very beautiful relaxing Christmas song is one for the ages.
- Last Christmas: Written by George Michael, this is the Christmas song that leaves many people singing this with their families and the best friends.
- Silver Bells: This song is one of the more calming Christmas songs out there. Jay Livingston and Ray Evans collaborated to make this song that many people have come to love and sing every holiday season.
