Leati Joseph Anoa’i, better known as Roman Reigns, is an american professional wrestler and a former professional football player.

Roman Reigns is a legend in the WWE universe where he won the universal championship by defeating Brock Lesnar on August 25, 2018 and won the world heavyweight championship by defeating Sheamus on December 15, 2015.

Reigns first wrestled in 2012 with this friends/teammates Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as the Shield Hounds of Justice. Before he became a famous wrestler, he was a football player in 2006 at Georgia Tech yellow jacket and was named first-team all-ACC in his senior year. After going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings. After being waived by the Vikings, he was added to the Jacksonville Jaguars roster to provide depth to the defensive tackles.

In 2008 Reign was signed by the Edmonton Eskimos and accepted a spot on the team’s practice roster. He then played a full season for the Canadian Football League’s (CFL) Edmonton Eskimos in 2008 before he retired from football.  

Then came wrestling.

Roman Reigns holds the record for the most eliminations in the 2014  Royal Rumble,  but he lost to Dave Batista. Roman Reigns eliminated 12 opponents compared to Kane’s 11. Roman Reigns’ WWE moves are the “Superman Punch” and “The Spear”and he also has a very strict work-out routine.

Roman Reigns is a very cool and nice person with a great family and wrestling fans wish him the best of luck in the future.
