Fortnite has taken over the nation!

Fortnite has been a popular game since it came out in stores. In March, Fortnite made 296 million dollars and in April, the game made 223 million dollars.

Now in October, kids are looking to dress up as characters from the game for Halloween. Let’s see if people from the Hawthorne “Showtime” Bear’s area are participating in wearing these costumes. (WARNING: these costumes are selling out very fast so order them as fast as possible).

The skull trooper will likely be the most common costume this year. This is the most loved and well known Fortnite: Battle Royale skin in the game. The skull trooper skin was out in the Fortnite item shop during the Halloween season in 2017. Now this skin was just released again in the item shop in the beginning of October 2018. The kids size costume for the skull trooper is selling for $149.99. For adult sizes, the costume is going for $179.99. This costume comes with a mask, jumpsuit, gloves, bandanna, belt with attached ammo belt and shin guards.  

The next amazing costume is the cuddle team leader outfit. This is a friendly, pink bear from the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale! This costume comes strictly in girls sizes and is priced at $119.99. This skin was in the Fortnite: Battle Royale item shop during the Valentine’s Day event for 2,000 V-Bucks, which is equivalent to $20. This costume comes with a one-piece outfit with a hood that looks like the character’s mask. A separate mask is sold for $45.99 on the same website, which in my opinion, looks way better than the hood on the original costume. The best part of this costume is the warm, cuddly fur all over the outside and inside of the outfit.

A very common and funny skin in Fortnite: Battle Royale is the Rex skin. This skin was first out to buy in the item shop on March 20, 2018. This is one of the more expensive skins in Fortnite. This cost 2,000 V-bucks ($20) to buy from the item shop. The kids costume size cost $44.99 and the adult costume size is selling for $49.99. The best part about this costume is the big googly eyes staring out from between the orange spikes.

The last costume is the Dark Voyager. This is a very eye-catching outfit that features a space suit and bright orange lights. This skin was featured in the Season 3 Battle Pass and was unlocked at tier 100. The Battle Pass could be purchased for 950 V-bucks ($10) and allows you to unlock different skins and dances as you level up. This costume comes with an astronaut suit with a helmet priced at $300. This will be a very popular costume idea this Halloween, as it is one of the most loved Fortnite: Battle Royale skins.
