It is the Monday after the Super Bowl, and many people are still recovering after the big game. But, there is another big game that happens to be on the same exact day: The Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. This year was Puppy Bowl XV. During this game, Team Ruff takes on Team Fluff. The rules are loosely based on the rules of football mainly because they are puppies and don’t play football.

This year the ultimate winner was Team Ruff. They beat Team Fluff with a score that was more impressive than the actual Super Bowl. Team Ruff had won with the final score of 59-51. Team Fluff had been the anticipated winner due to them having a two game winning streak in the last two Puppy Bowls including a 93-38 blowout in 2017. The contest went back in forth the entire time.

Just like the Super Bowl, there is an MVP. This year the MVP was a 20-week-old Lab/Chow Chow mix named Bumble. Bumble won the MVP race with 70% of the votes. Bumble is sight and hearing impaired, so her winning the MVP makes her the first special needs dog to win this honor.

If you had watched the Puppy Bowl and saw a dog that stood out to you, all of the adorable puppies are available to adopt. If you want to watch the Puppy Bowl next year it is on Animal Planet on Super Bowl Sunday.
