Billie Eilish’s Debut Album Crushes Charts

At just seventeen years old, Billie Eilish released her first album, When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?.
Featuring fourteen songs, all written and produced by Eilish and her talented brother, Finneas O’Connell, the album dropped on all music platforms on March 29, 2019.
The album is full of hidden themes and messages and even features snippets from her favorite television show, The Office, in her song “My Strange Addiction.” In just a little over a week, the album astonishingly has over one billion streams. Debuting at the top of the Billboard top 200 albums, she is the first artist born in the twenty first century to earn a number one album in the United States.
During the first week of the release, 313,000 album units were sold, making her album the second-largest album release of 2019, after Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next album. As her numbers for the album continuously increase everyday, Billie Eilish proves to her critics that she is a force to be reckoned with.
