Our favorite time of the year is rolling around. Christmas is what brings our friends and family together. Whether it’s the gifts, the food, or just the feeling of being around your family during the holiday season, we all know Christmas is a time of joy. But the Christmas movies are the real stars of the show. Christmas movies are what shaped my childhood and on every Christmas Eve, we watch Elf! But let’s take a gander at what films other people watch during the holidays.

Natalya Batista, a freshman at HHS said this, “Christmas Chronicles is my all time favorite Christmas movie! I think this is because the movie brings me joy and at the end of the movie, both siblings are getting along…I like how the movie shows us how even after the fighting there is peace!”

Wow! Even though I’ve never seen the movie, this makes me want to watch it now!

Zayna Jatker, a student here at HHS said, “The Polar Express came out during my childhood. I grew up with the movie! The movie makes me feel safe and like a little kid again!”

The Polar Express is also a good movie!

Lastly, HHS student Ryan Leonard had this to say, “The movie Elf  is very funny. I personally like it because it’s a classic Christmas movie.” Here’s another person saying Elf is the ultimate Christmas movie!

So now we can see that Christmas movies really do have a big impact on us! These are the  movies we’ve grown up with and have been traditions on Christmas Eve (or even Christmas Day) each and every year.
