Dolls, shirts, and even movies are made for representation of Barbie. There have been over 40 movies made about Barbie that go on for years. They even have their own YouTube channel. This year fans are going crazy about the new live action Barbie movie that is coming out, and you won’t believe who is playing the lead.

Warner Bros has recently released their first glimpse of the new live action “Barbie” movie. Fans were blown away when they realized that it would turn out to be Margot Robbie playing the role as Barbie. Margot Robbie is a very well-known actress who played in the films Suicide Squad, I’ Tonya, The Wolf of Wall Street and a lot more.

The photo was posted on Twitter on April 26 and blew up immediately. The photo showed Margot Robbie in a white and blue striped top, inside a hot pink convertible. They even have a few other surprising celebrities said to be starring in the movie such as Will Ferrell, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Simu Liu, Kate Mckinnon, America Ferrera, Hari Neff and even Ryan Gosling who will be playing Barbie’s boyfriend Ken. The film is set to be released on July 21 2023 and is being directed by Greta Gerwig. It is also Warners bros first ever collaboration with Mattel and Picture films.
