Movie production has come a long way.

From the first Disney film in 1928, Steamboat Willie, to the newest “Mario” movie that recently came out in April of 2023.

This summer there is a slate of good movies getting ready to premiere. The majority are sequels from earlier years.

A live action remake of Barbie will be coming out this July 21, 2023. A trailer was released which brought back a lot of Barbie fans, I predict that a lot of people are going to fill the theaters with this film since the trailer was pretty funny and seemed like it was for children and adults.

Another movie that will be released this year is the new Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The movie is said to be violent and portrays Winnie the Pooh as a violent character. Turning an innocent kid’s show into a horror film may not age so well with the public.

The movie follows Pooh and friends with the same storyline, but involves a lot of gore and horror. The movie is not yet rated, but it will most likely end up being R or MA.

Another movie that will be released this year is the new Spider Man into the Spider-Verse. The main character Miles Morales is the new Spider-Man in the first movie. This year it will be released and recently the trailer has been released as well. Miles goes to the Spider-Verse to see a lot of other spider people.
