We all have our own styles and preferences when it comes to dressing ourselves: and we have these preferences to feel comfortable with ourselves.
The different styles of clothing being worn around Hawthorne High School consist of ways people express and present themselves. That is a fact.
Fashion is often used for first impressions, like the first day of school, first day on the job, meeting new people, etc.
So I went around school and asked various students about their style preferences and asked for their opinions on trends that were consistent around the school. All of the girls I asked around the school mostly said their style consists of what they find themselves “comfortable in.”
As for the boys I asked, they were blunt and honest saying that they just put “whatever on.”
The current trends around HHS include flare pants, sweatshirts, hoodies, a spate of neutral colors, slides, baby tees (crop tops), cargo pants, and other basic colors.
The common thread between all of these? More comfortable clothing always wins out.
Yes, there are some people who dress completely different then what I have observed, but that only makes the school more interesting. The diversity in clothing and fashion around the school definitely changes things up, allowing us to see how creative people can be and how they express themselves differently than others.
