Tyler Okonma commonly known as Tyler the Creator was born on March 6, 1991 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised by his mother in the Ladera Heights and Hawthorne sections of L.A. Growing up he taught himself how to play piano and designed album covers.
His music was first introduced in 2008 with ‘Odd Future’ a musical group made up of 23 people. In 2011 they managed to gain a record label and soon ‘Odd Future Records’ was established.
Soon after they all went their separate ways and became solo creators. In 2019 Tyler’s album ‘Igor’ earned a Grammy, and his career exploded gaining millions of fans.
Okonma is releasing a new album called “Chromakopia” on Monday, October 28. This album is such a surprise because on his social media he was alluding to not dropping an album this year.
This is also the first time Tyler is releasing an album in the fall and a lot of people are saying that this album will be much darker than the other ones. This album is so big because it’s the complete opposite of his usual aesthetic.
