This is the first in a series of articles reviewing local food establishments. Different staff writers have agreed to review different restaurants around town, all popular with students at Hawthorne High School. The first of our reviews is a local burger place, Hot Diggity Grill.

If you want a fat, juicy home-style burger, there’s no better place than Hot Diggity Grill! The Hot Diggity Grill is a hot dog and hamburger joint in Hawthorne, located at 204 Diamond Bridge Ave. If you’re the kind of person who isn’t big on burgers, they also serve soups, salads, french fries, onion rings, veggie burgers, milkshakes, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, cheesesteaks, and so much more. They also provide all-day specials. For example, if you buy 4 hot dogs, you get 1 free! Also, if you buy 5 burgers, you get 1 free! They’re open Monday through Thursday from 11-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11-10 p.m., and Sunday from 12-8 p.m. Hot Diggity also provides catering and ordering online, both available if you go to their website, hotdiggitymenu.com. So, if you’re looking for a fast, delicious meal, or to spend some time with your family, then come on down to Hot Diggity Grill!
