Recently there has been a new edition to the Boys and Girls Club facility. A new building has been added across from the first structure, 148 Mainland Ave, that will serve as the new Day Care Center for the 18 month to 4 year old infants.

The architect Edward E. Easse created the design and the intention was to give infants a productive and larger space specifically for day care children. The new building will include a safe and more organized environment for the children, making less confusion for the parents when picking up their kids in the morning or afternoon.

The day care center will be opening at 7:30am and closing at 6:30 so the children could be there all day if need be.

The new day care center will also be focusing on more activities based off younger kids. Since the day care center has its own building, it will be providing a safe, structured and more positive environment focusing on younger people. The mission is to inspire and enable all young children, especially those who need them most, providing a safe place to learn and grow, and ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, life enhancing programs and character development experiences.
