Australian Ride Kills 4

4 people have died today, October 25, on a carnival ride in Dreamworld Amusement Park in Australia.

The passengers on the ride were all adults: two men and two women, all in their 30s and 40s. The accident happened on a popular water ride, the Thunder River Rapids, where riders are situated on a large raft.

Authorities confirmed two were thrown off the ride and the others were trapped underneath. The ride was not an over extreme ride. It is said to be one of the mildest rides they have.

Children the age of 2 are open to ride. Authorities are still working to figure out exactly what happened with the ride. They say that the ride had nothing wrong before the incident. They are checking the cameras of the ride and hopefully the park will be open in a few more weeks.
