Spring Fever

Leah Rosado, Chief Editor

Spring has arrived and better late then never. Winter days are finally gone, but they have now been replaced by very hot or very chilly spring days. One minute its sweater weather and then the next we are practically in swim suits enjoying the sun. Here are some tips and tricks on how to beat that Spring Fever:

  • Its allergy season! If this affects you in any way, make sure you keep up with it. Take allergy medicine before heading out that door to prepare for how bad it might be. Remember to always keep tissues, hand sanitizer, and eye drops in your bag just in case. Always remember to wash your hands and steer away from touching your eyes to prevent pollen from getting in your eyes, mouth, and nose.
  • Keep hydrated! Since the temperature is rising that pretty much means you’ll be sweating a lot. Drink as much water as you possibly can.
  • Do not forget to carry a sweater around. Yes, we have all started dressing as if it’s summer, but it does get pretty chilly at night. Having a small sweater in your bag will come in handy.

Here are some great spring drink places you’ll enjoy!! Thank me later 🙂

  • Starbucks: Try a new light drink like their refreshers. Try the new peach citrus iced tea and add a splash of lemonade or even green tea…it’s wonderful.
  • Ridgewood Coffee Company: If you’re into a very strong coffee taste or even a coffee buzz through out the day, the RCC has a iced coffee called the Vietnamese.
  • Dunkin Donuts: Try the new honey drinks they just came out with!! They are super sweet and very delicious after a day of walking around in the sun.
