From December 7 until the 31st, the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ will be hosting a spectacular holiday lights event. Admission is free. You may also bring in donations of non-perishable foods, new toys, and gently used coats. The event features thousand of sparkling lights and over 50 animals.

If you have a child or any younger family members, they will love all of the meet and greets with Mrs. Clause, Santa, superheroes, princesses, and an ice carver. You can also take a ride on the carousel for $2.00.

However, the main attraction is all the decorations and lights. You will see more than 100,000 lights around the whole zoo. The Turtle Back Zoo is open all week from 5pm to 9pm. Also, the best part is that admission is free. It is important to note that the zoo will not be opened on December 24 and 25.  This event is perfect for all ages especially those who want to walk through thousands of colorful lights.
