Did you know that about 80 million homes in America have an animal family member? And about half of those households have more than one?

Well if you’re one of those 80 million people then National Pet Month is your time to celebrate. What a great way to celebrate how important our pets are! They make our social media much more entertaining. Just think of all the funny videos of cats and dogs. But besides the funny videos, National Pet Month is actually a unique registered charity, made for bringing together animal welfare.

All the donations are from charities, pet businesses, schools, youth groups and pet lovers. The trustful people are known as NOAH short for National Office of Animal Health, and PFMA short for Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association. They are getting ready to take on its 30th year, celebrating and raising money for these special animals.

National Pet Month takes place from the April 1 to May 6 2019, and you are invited to take part!
