The frozen flame broiled patties from AdvancePierre foods were produced on November 30, 2018. There was a soft purple plastic found in the patties. The problem was discovered on April 1, 2019 after a firm received two consumer complaints regarding soft plastic found in the patties.

Their have been no reports of any injuries or anyone getting sick from the patties. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced this on April 2, 2019.
