All over the world notebooks are used by teachers, students, office workers and more. Many companies like Staples, TRU RED, and Five Star have been big names in the sales game for years. As technology advances, things you thought would never change have. A company named RocketBook may have changed the notebook game forever by creating the first digital, sustainable, and reusable notebooks.
The beginning : In 2013 Rocketbooks founder Joe Lemay had set out on an adventure to help the world organize, share their ideas and save money. In 2014 Joe Lemay started the creation of the first RocketBook with the help of his friend Jake Epstein. It was called the Rocketbook Wave and it was the first erasable a digital notebook. From then on Rocketbook took off and in 2015 it was featured on the hit show Shark tank.
The RocketBook has many different versions and each of them have their own design and different/ similar features. Some styles of the RocketBook include the Flip, Matrix, Core, Mini, Pro and many more. Each Rocketbook is specialized for a different type or group of people.
Core – The RocketBook Core was one of the first and is the most basic version of them all. Just like a regular notebook the Core is a cheap and sustainable option for anyone wanting lined or dotted sheets at the time of your order.
Fusion – The Rocketbook Fusion is easily the most versatile version of them all. It comes with a task list, weekly planner, monthly planner, OKR goal template, idea lists, dot and lined pages.
Fusion Plus – While the fusion plus is very similar to the regular fusion it comes with some extra templates and more pages. In the Fusion plus you receive everything that comes with the Fusion plus 4 blank, 4 graphs, 8 meeting notes, 4 project management, and 1 custom table pages.
Flip – The flip is specialized for note taking and lefties. The flip gives the option for lined pages on the front and dotted pages on the back.
Matrix – The Matrix is for business owners or any mathematical person. It gives graph, index, lined and dotted pages. Each one comes equipped with metric and imperial rulers.
Mini – The Mini is the smallest of the bunch and only has the ability to be erased and has no special cloud destinations at the bottom.
Multi Subject – The multi subject is exactly what it sounds like, it has 5 different sections with a total of 70 pages that make it great for a student.
Pro – The pro is a slim hard covered version which comes with lined and dotted pages attached to the notebook (with magnets) which gives the option to purchase other pages.
Wave – The wave was the first rocketbook to come out. It has 40 dotted pages, but only has five uses per side.
All RocketBooks come with a small spray bottle, microfiber rag and a Frixion branded pen. Rocketbook recommends that you only use Frixion branded pens because others may not wipe off the page. Cloud features come available in most Rocketbook notebooks except for the mini.
How to use: Each Rocketbook is used the same way and it’s very similar to a regular notebook. You write on the page and then you have various options. From there you will use the free Rocketbook app to scan the page or you can use the various symbols or cloud destinations at the bottom of the page to send it to a certain location or you can scan it into the app. From there you can spray water on the page and erase everything.
