As the season gets colder and it begins to get darker earlier, we start saying goodbye to autumn and happily welcome winter!!
Now what comes with winter? Christmas!!
Everyone is always excited for Christmas! The lights, the decorations, the music, the weather, and the gifts. Christmas is celebrated on December 25, while Christmas Eve is celebrated on December 24. There are also other holidays that are celebrated for the people that do not celebrate christmas, like Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Diwali.
To be in the Christmas spirit you MUST have christmas lights and especially decorations. Some parents may tell their children the more decorations that are up, the more of a chance that Santa will come to their house first.
Of course the tree is one of the most important things that you should have, because gifts will always go under the tree. Now, going gift shopping for your family and friends can be expensive, but that will always be a price to pay in order to see them happy. Even if you don’t have the money to buy gifts for everyone, you should still be able to give them a little something, even if it’s a handwritten letter. Christmas is never about giving gifts, it’s about celebrating and spending time with your family.
Some of the best things to do around Christmas time is go to New York, it will always be a beautiful sight. The tree in Midtown Manhattan is always beautifully decorated and lit up. The ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center is right next to the tree and it gives you something to do with your family or significant other.
You can also go sledding! Sledding can be one of the funnest things to do with friends. If there’s enough snow on the ground for you then don’t miss the chance! Making gingerbread houses as well can be entertaining and fun with friends. Competing against each other and seeing who can do it best.
So be ready and be excited for the coming season and holidays!!!
