The Hawthorne High School PTO is holding a used clothing drive on Wednesday to Friday, May 27-29, 2:45-3:15 p.m. and 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and also on Saturday, May 30, 9:00 a.m.-12 noon at Hawthorne High School. The organization is collecting wearable and useable clothing for men, women and children. Along with the clothing they are also collecting shoes, belts, handbags, linens (such as bedding, curtains, towels), stuffed animals, and even hard toys. All donated items should be placed into tightly tied plastic bags. The location of the event will be on Bamford Ave by the high school’s cafeteria doors; the PTO will receive money for every pound that is collected.
