MLK Day is January 20th

Just a list of a few events for the month of January…

  • On January 16 it is FAFSA night for all HHS seniors. This can help all seniors and parents gain information and resources to help complete the FAFSA application for the financial aid portion when doing college applications.
  • Starting on January 16th and going through the 22nd, EMPAS will be taking place. EMPAS are end of marking period assessments and they happen\ midway through the year and at the end of the year as well. Be on the lookout for the EMPA daily schedule.
  • On January 20th school is closed for Martin Luther King Day.

Hi my name is Karlie Stier. I am a senior here at Hawthorne High School. This is my second year writing for The Clarion which I am very excited for. I am also one of the captains for the Hawthorne girls' softball team, as well as the varsity pitcher.
