The blood drive  this month that was supposed to take place on the 23 of February in the small gym, was postponed due to inclement weather. 

Like most blood drives it will be done solely to donate blood for those in need, such as people with injuries or disease or to give blood to places like local clinics and hospitals. It will also create an opportunity for the people here at Hawthorne High School to give back to the community and contribute to those with less ideal situations than themselves who could use the help however it is given.

Many HHS students have already gladly joined to be part of this blood drive.

During the event in order to make sure that you have good blood pressure (and to keep the procedure going smoothly) donuts and other foods will be served.
