Ariana Grande fans are going crazy as Ms. Grande has been teasing AG8: basically, her 8th album. Ms. Grande has been dropping hints even after saying “No — definitely not. Nothing is coming before May…” then continuing to say, “I love [my fans] so much, but sometimes I want to ask, ‘Do you think there’s another version of me out there who had time to write an album?’ Not yet,  but soon enough”.

Ariana shared pictures of her in the studio seemingly confirming her new music. Ms. Grande has been utilizing the number ‘8’ in numerous ways whether that be using 8 emojis in a caption or even her merch shipping date being changed to April 8, 2026 (followed by an Instagram photo dump of her in the studio). Another clue that eagle eyed fans spotted was Grande’s following count dropped to 8. Then there’s my personal favorite clue: her Brighter Days hotline message. The message  included a slip-up where she said, “We’re counting down the 8s — oops! I mean, the days [until the Eternal Sunshine Tour]”.

Now I am going to speculate, Grande added in her April 8 photo dump an illustration of wilted flowers. My interpretation of this illustration is that the theme of the album is going to revolve around the flowers. It’s said that the album’s style is inspired by Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Some fans theorize that this album could be a mix of the style of ‘Dangerous Woman’ and ‘Eternal Sunshine’.

Ariana’s fan base and critics alike have theorized that AG8 is coming sometime in May (Ariana has yet to confirm).
