Years ago, malls used to be crowded almost every weekend.

Families and teenagers would go shopping , eat at the food court and spend hours walking around the various stores.

Online shopping has become more popular because it is easier and faster. People can shop from their phones at home instead of driving to the mall. Many websites also offer cheaper prices, more choices, and fast shipping. Apps like Amazon and other online stores make it simple to buy clothes, shows, electronics, and almost anything else with only a few clicks

 Social media has also affected shopping habits. Many people see products on apps like Tik Tok and Instagram and buy them online right away. Instead of spending time at malls and trying stuff on, they instead choose to shop online.

Even though online shopping is growing, some people still enjoy going to malls. Malls allow people to try on clothes, see the stuff in person, and spend time with friends and family. However many malls today have fewer people shopping and a lot of stores are empty.

Overall, technology has completely changed the way people shop. Online shopping is continuing to grow because most people find it easier to use. Malls are still around till this day, but they are not as popular as they were because more people now choose to shop online from their phones.
