Sewing Workshop

Sewing+Workshop

This past month, many Hawthorne High School students participated in sewing workshops that were offered in the HHS Media Center.

There were two different workshops offered: one was for making purses and the other was for making pillows. Students had several different fabrics to choose from, for both of the items being made.

It was an amazing sight watching the students use the sewing machines, changing the speed as they wished. Once the sewing was done, the students stuffed the pillows and closed them up: sewing by hand.

When they finished the students were pleased with how their purses or pillows turned out.
