Famous Female Authors…
The month of March is Women’s History Month.
In the HHS Library there is a section with all books written by women.
Women’s history month started in 1978 in Santa Rosa, California by the Education Task Force of Sonoma County Commission.
Women’s History month was originally Women’s Week and not month. In 1987 Women’s History Week officially became Women’s History month.
