As the school year comes to an end many HHS seniors lack motivation to do anything school related. Senioritis usually hits students after spring break and they have little motivation to come into the building. Today I will be asking some high school seniors how they feel as the end of their senior year approaches quickly.
How do you feel towards the end of the year approaching?
Joe Haddad: I feel nostalgic, but excited.
Jonathan Garcia: I am pretty excited.
Sebastian Valverde: Eh, it could be better.
Marcello Mitreski: It’s fast and slow at the same time…kinda boring actually.
Serena Peccini: Excited…
Did you get senioritis during the year?
Joe Haddad: Oh yes…at an insane level.
Jonathan Garcia: I have…and continue to have it.
Sebastian Valverde: I gave up junior year…
Marcello Mitreski: Yes I do!
Serena Peccini: I did once we came back from spring break!
What’s your favorite high school memory?
Joe Haddad: Getting to be a part of a massive friend group.
Jonathan Garcia: Going on the Boston trip over spring break.
Sebastian Valverde: Mrs Tise’s class!
Marcello Mitreski: Hitting the fence…
Serena Peccini : The fall play and spring musical!
What’s one thing you’re looking forward to the most after high school?
Joe Haddad: More freedom and a college experience!
Jonathan Garcia: The college experience and being able to meet new people!
Sebastian Valverde: Not going to college…
Marcello Mitreski: Video games and playing in college!
Serena Peccini : Being out of HHS and having time for more work experience!
Thank you to all of the high school seniors who gave these answers. Senior year makes people feel ready for the real world as graduation approaches. Seniors also get excited about the end of the year for all of the fun senior activities that are held for them such as prom, senior trip, superstars and the yearbook signing breakfast. Although this is a tough season for seniors they are just waiting for their big graduation day. Have a great day and go Bears!.
