One of Hawthorne’s favorite sandwich shops, Bogie’s Hoagies (located at 421 Lafayette Ave) is doubling in size, by breaking down the right wall in the deli.

The owner, chef Paul Beaugard, said that he has been contemplating on the expansion and has finally decided to do it. Beaugard also said that the concept of his deli will not be changing, but it will accommodate more customers.

He and his daughter Natalie will be adding new varieties of ravioli, pizza, and homemade ice cream to the menu. To go with all of the new food, Beaugard is also changing the hours at Bogie’s to a closing time of 8 or 8:30 instead of 6.

Beaugard said Bogie’s Hoagies new expansion will be finished sometime this spring of 2018.
