Local Hawthorne pharmacy, Melcons, after decades of being in its old location, has moved!

Many of the old time residents in town have begun to wonder about the pharmacy’s new location; many posts on Facebook were made recently asking why this move happened…and the most frequently asked question is, are they taking the old Melcon’s sign down and bringing it to the new location?

All things change eventually, and I’m sure the loving environment of Melcon’s will stay the same even in the new building.

Now to address the sign issue, a nice new red one has just been put up hanging above the entrance, but what does this mean for the old one?

Hopefully, it can be hung up inside the pharmacy as it’s been the Melcon’s sign since the start and truly means something to the town and long time customers.
