Hawthorne High School had a bonfire on October 21, 2021.

The bonfire started at 6:30 p.m and ended at 9 p.m. Many of the HHS students were there and some parents went as well.

Everything was well set up and everyone had a great time. The amount of people who came helped the school a lot. The entrance fee was five dollars for each person and all of the money raised at the entrance fee goes to the school which is very good and will help a lot.

There was food such as pizza, chicken wings, lemonade, funnel cake, fried oreos, etc. There was also free hot chocolate at the end of the night.

Past the food area was the athletic field. There were a lot of students, staff, and parents there. There were a couple of tables and chairs where people were sitting and enjoying their night. Those who weren’t sitting were either dancing, playing games, or just standing while they talked to their friends. There was a DJ playing music the whole time keeping many people entertained.

There were many outdoor games as well. There was tetherball, Connect Four, bean bag toss and some students brought their own footballs to throw around.
