Yellas

Yellas

Taylor Peters, Staff Writer

Openings of new restaurants or stores can be a big deal for a small town like Hawthorne. It can get new people to come into our town just to try this new restaurant or even shop in that new, trendy store.

One new restaurant that just opened up in Hawthorne is called Yellas, which has been a family business since 1967 and brand new to our town.

They make beautiful, hand crafted sandwiches that have been enjoyed by many over the years.

Yellas’ website gives off very welcoming vibes for people new to their business. According to their website every worker has a passion for doing what they do and keeping good energy in the restaurant for the sake of the customers.

The prices for Yellas are very reasonable and affordable for such delicious food.

Some of the sandwiches they make are Deli Classics and Submarines which both have bacon, lettuce, tomato and meat. Yellas also has hand spun milkshakes (like orange sherbert and strawberry shortcake) and other desserts.

If you´re interested in this new place you can find them at 1103 Goffle Road in Hawthorne. Their hours vary depending on the day, Sunday-Thursdays they are open from 11am-9pm and on Friday-Saturday they are open from 11am-10pm.
